Mumbai Indians

The Mumbai Indians (abbreviated as MI) is a franchise cricket team representing the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise is owned by India’s biggest conglomerate, Reliance Industries, through its 100% subsidiary IndiaWin Sports. The primary home ground of the Mumbai Indians is the Wankhede Stadium.

The Mumbai Indians are the most successful team in the IPL. They won the 2011 Champions League Twenty20 after beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 31 runs in the final. The team won its first IPL title, in 2013, by defeating Chennai Super Kings by 23 runs in the final, and then defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 33 runs to win its second Champions League Twenty20 title later that year.They won their second IPL title on 24 May 2015 by defeating the Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs in the final and became the third team to win more than one IPL title. On 21 May 2017, they won their third IPL title by defeating the Rising Pune Supergiants by 1 run in the final, thus becoming the first team to win three IPL titles.While playing the tournament, they won their 100th T20, becoming the first team to do so.

Perth Scorchers

The Perth Scorchers are an Australian domestic Twenty20 cricket team representing Perth in the Big Bash League.

The Scorchers are the most successful team in BBL history, having played in five of six BBL finals, and winning in three of them. They were defeated in the finals by the Sydney Sixers in 2011–12 and by Brisbane Heat in 2012–13. In their 3rd final they defeated the Hobart Hurricanes and then went on to become the first team to win subsequent tournaments by beating the Sixers in BBL04 in a last-ball thriller at Canberra’s Manuka Oval.

The Scorchers are captained by Adam Voges after Simon Katich retired at the end of the Scorchers successful BBL03 campaign in 2014. Mickey Arthur was originally appointed coach, but quit before the beginning of the 2011–12 season after he was appointed coach of the Australian cricket team. He was replaced by his former assistant, Lachlan Stevens. Justin Langer replaced Stevens in November 2012.

Sydney sixers

The Sydney Sixers are an Australian professional men’s cricket team, competing in Australia’s domestic Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League (BBL). Along with the Sydney Thunder, the Sixers are the successors of the New South Wales Blues who played in the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The Sixers play at Sydney Cricket Ground in the south-eastern area of the inner city while the Thunder play out of Spotless Stadium further west. The inaugural coach was Trevor Bayliss and Dominic Remond is the General Manager. The Sixers’ inaugural captain is Australian wicket-keeper Brad Haddin. Both Steve Smith and Moises Henriques have also spent time captaining the team.

Competing in the inaugural Big Bash League, the Sydney Sixers went on to win the tournament. After finishing third in the regular season games, the Sixers defeated the Hobart Hurricanes in the semi-final at Bellerive Oval. This facilitated a show-down with the Perth Scorchers in the final. They defeated the Scorchers on 28 January 2012, at the WACA Ground, thus becoming the inaugural champions of the Big Bash League.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (often abbreviated as RCB) are a franchise cricket team based in Bangalore, Karnataka, that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). One of the original eight teams in the IPL, the team has made three final appearances in the IPL, losing all of them (in 2009 to the Deccan Chargers, in 2011 to the Chennai Super Kings and in 2016 to the Sunrisers Hyderabad). The team also finished runners-up in the 2011 CLT20, losing the final against the Mumbai Indians.

The home ground of the Royal Challengers is the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. The team is currently captained by Virat Kohli and coached by Daniel Vettori.The team holds the records of both the highest and the lowest total in the IPL (263/5 and 49).
